Known Issues and Fixes for GSI version 3.3

Compiler Support

comGSI V3.3 has been successfully tested on the following platforms:
  • Intel ifort versions: v12.1.4, v12.1.5, v13.0.1, v13.1.1, v13.1.2, v14.0.1
  • PGI pgf90 versions: v11.7, v12.8, v12.10, v13.2, v13.3, v13.4, v13.8, v13.9
  • GNU gfortran version: v4.7.1, v4.7.2, v4.7.3 (Note: Assimilation of radiances and GPSRO fails.)

Known Compiler Issues

For PGI compiler

  • FAILS TO BUILD with v12.5 of pgf90, due to a bug in the CRTM library.

    • For Intel compiler

  • FAILS TO BUILD with v14.0.1, 14.0.3 of ifort, due to a bug in the CRTM library.

    • For GNU compiler

  • FAILS TO BUILD with v4.8+ of gfortran.
