Workshop Overview
The second Nonhydrostatic Multiscale Model on the B-grid (NMMB) user tutorial will be a two-day event starting on March 2, 2016. The objective of this event is to provide an introduction to the model, the NEMS system and a practical session on executing the model. The tutorial will include invited talks from NMMB developers and advanced users.

Contacts
The workshop will consist of one day of presentations and invited talks describing the different components of the NEMS modeling system and the NMMB model. The following day will include a practical session where attendees will be able to run a sample NMMB forecast case on the Yellowstone NCAR supercomputer, using a pre-installed version of NEMS. Users will then be able to display the NMMB output using provided NCL scripts.
