Version 3.4.1 of the WRF Pre-Processing System (WPS) was released on August 16, 2012.

Bug fixes and improvements

• Correction for CFSR Vtable: Vtable.CFSR_sfc_flx06. The surface dataset does not have a RH field. The correction is to obtain specific humidity field and compute RH from it (posted July 30, 2012).
• Added compile option for Linux x86_64 using gfortran
• Bug fix for correctly using GFS data after May 22, 2012 (posted May 23, 2012). Please visit here for further detail.
• Corrected configure script to avoid erroneously printing 'Your Fortran + NETCDF did not run successfully.' messages
• USGS land cover over Iceland may be updated to reflect more normal glacier coverage. To see what's the old and new glacial coverage over the island, click here. For this release, one would need to download the modified tiles to your directory where the usgs and usgs+lake datasets are located (Thanks to Ólafur Rögnvaldsson, Hálfdán Ágústsson and Einar M. Einarsson of Institute for Meteorological Research, Iceland to provide the updated tiles).
