Introduction

This exercise runs the GSI 4D hybrid analysis with the ARW background, conventional data, satellite radiances, gpsro and radar data at 06z June 17, 2014. Please note the ARW background field is provided at three time levels (3,6 and 9hr forecast) in netcdf format, and the NAM BE is employed as the background error covariance in this experiment. The global ensemble files at three time levels (3, 6 and 9 hr forecast) are linked to run this GSI hybrid test.
